- Julie Blaskewicz Boron, PhD

MyPsychLab, MyDevelopmentLab - Julie Blaskewicz Boron is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Youngstown State University. She earned her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Human Development and Family Studies at The Pennsylvania State University, and completed postdoctoral training in Cognitive Aging at Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Boron's research considers the impact of personality and emotion across the adult lifespan, particularly in regards to cognitive functioning and everyday problem solving. Julie began using MyPsychLab in 2009 when teaching large sections of General Psychology, and has since expanded her integration to Lifespan Development and Social Psychology. Use of the MyLab programs is helpful for professors and students, especially in regards to understanding the applied aspects of psychology.

- Frank Corapi

MyPsychLab - Frank Corapi is an assistant professor of psychology at Jamestown Community College and has been teaching full-time at JCC for six years. He is also director of the psychology department and the social sciences division at JCC. In terms of professional development, Frank is the coordinator of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching at JCC. Prior to Jamestown, Frank was an instructor in psychology at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania for four years. He worked as a clinical program director in a variety of behavioral health treatment programs for Stairways Behavioral Health in Erie, PA from 1989 until 2002. He was also in private practice for about 10 years in the 1990s specializing in couples therapy. Frank has an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Gannon University and a great deal of post-masters work.

- Marcus Dickson

MyPsychLab - Marcus Dickson is Professor of Organizational Psychology and Associate Department Chair in the Department of Psychology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, and did his undergraduate work at West Virginia Wesleyan College. Dr. Dickson's research focuses on organizational leadership, especially cross-cultural issues in leadership, and he has lectured and taught on this topic in several countries, including Singapore, Taiwan, and Ireland. As a teacher, Dr. Dickson has been recognized by the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP) with its Distinguished Contributions in Teaching Award, and by Wayne State University with the President's Award for Excellence in Teaching. Dr. Dickson served as the Chair of SIOP's Education and Training Committee, and currently authors a column entitled "Max. Classroom Capacity" for The Industrial-Organizational Psychologist, SIOP's journal/newsletter. He frequently teaches Introductory Psychology, as well as a variety of courses at the doctoral level.

- Danae L. Hudson, Ph.D.
- Missouri State University
MyPsychLab - Dr. Hudson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Missouri State University. Since 2003, Dr. Hudson has taught large sections of Introductory Psychology in addition to other clinical psychology undergraduate and graduate courses. Dr. Hudson served as the team leader for a large-scale redesign of Missouri State University's Introductory Psychology course. Since the implementation and successful outcomes of the redesigned course, Dr. Hudson has presented at national and international venues. Dr. Hudson has served as a Provost Fellow for Teaching and Learning at Missouri State University, is currently a Missouri Learning Commons Scholar, and a National Center for Academic Transformation (NCAT) Redesign Scholar.

- Marion Mason

MyPsychLab/MyDevelopmentLab - Marion Mason is a Professor of Psychology at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She teaches General Psychology in a mass lecture setting as well as Lifespan Psychology, Adulthood and Aging, and Psychology of Gender. Starting at Bloomsburg in 1992, Mason has been interested in the use of technology in education since the early days of email, continuing across the years using various types of student response systems and course management software packages. With a heavy course load of 4/4, she knows the value of the time-saving tools found in the MyLabs.
- In addition to providing enthusiastic support for MyPsychLab and MyDevelopmentLab, Mason is also a Pearson author, publishing the first edition of Adulthood and Aging in 2011. - Catherine Newell

MyPsychLab - Catherine Newell is a native of Arizona. Leaving home at age 17 she became a licensed cosmetologist followed by a tour of duty with the Army National Guard from 1980-86 and served as a Medic at Ft McClellan, Alabama, Ft Sam Houston, Texas, and Ft. Polk, Louisiana. At Ft. Sam Houston, she met her husband while on active duty and has been married for 30 years. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
- Catherine's background includes careers in human resources and administration at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale; with the Mesa Public Schools providing motivational seminars and job training counseling to junior and senior high students; and has worked with her husband in construction businesses and building projects in Arizona and Hawaii. Since 2004 she expanded her career by specializing in marriage and family therapy.
- Catherine has a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, and a Master of Arts in Psychology. In 2004 she relocated to the Hawaiian Island of Kauai where she practiced therapy with 3 organizations; crisis intervention, court appointed counselor and therapist for CPS cases, and with the LDS family services based in Honolulu. She has worked with gang members and the prison system.

- Mary-Ellen O'Sullivan

MyPsychLab, MyDevelopmentLab, MyVirtualChild - Before returning to college to major in Psychology, Mary-Ellen was an Executive Secretary for major New York City corporations and also was Supervisor for Connecticut's Foster Grandparent Program.
- Mary-Ellen has been teaching undergraduate Psychology for more than 17 years at both the university and community college levels. Specific interests include general psychology, motivation, child development and learning. In addition, she tutors students studying psychology who are learning disabled or physically challenged.
- An enthusiastic user of MyPsychLab, she is available for campus visits and assistance via telephone or email for new users or to those considering this technology. She recently demonstrated MyPsychLab at the Farmingdale State College Teaching Of Psychology Conference and did an interview with the Connecticut Post newspaper regarding e-texts and MyPsychLab.

- Amy Reesing

MyVirtualChild - Amy Reesing earned her B.S. in Psychology, as well as her M.S. and Ph.D. in Family Studies and Human Development from The University of Arizona. Following this she did a post doc at Arizona State University which led to a full time Lecturer position. In addition to teaching several classes per semester she is the Coordinator for Online Programming for the School of Social and Family Dynamics at ASU.
- Amy has been using the MyVirtualChild program with her Introduction to Parenting course since the spring of 2009 and has noticed that the program brings the course material to life for students in a way that no other program could do. Students rave about how much they have learned and enjoyed using this program.

- Karl (Des) Robinson

MyPsychLab, MyDevelopmentLab - Des Robinson is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Tarrant County College in Texas. He has several years experience teaching at various universities and colleges, as well as conducting psychological research. His research has been featured on national television in several countries, and he has multiple presentations and publications on creative and effective teaching strategies. Des began using MyPsychLab in Fall 2004 for six sections of Introduction to Psychology and saw an immediate improvement in student comprehension and performance. Grades on the first exam were at least 10% higher in his MyPsychLab classes compared to previous classes that did not have this valuable resource. Students responded well to using MyPsychLab, with the majority reporting they recommend the instructor keep using it in future classes. The majority of students also reported using the non-mandatory resources of MyPsychLab while they studied, and that they felt in helped them in their preparation for the in-class exams.
- The results from these classes are undeniable that the computer-aged student is apt to learning from on-line resources. Des has found that not only is MyPsychLab an excellent comprehensive tool for elaborating on virtually all topics in psychology, but also allows for easy communication via email or discussion boards. He continues to give presentations around the country about MyPsychLab's effectiveness and welcomes the opportunity to further discuss MyPsychLab or answer any questions that you might have.

- Sue Spaulding has served as an instructor of General Psychology and the General Psychology Lab course for 18 years at UNC-Charlotte. Her current research focuses on teaching strategies, course redesign, and using online resources to improve student learning and understanding. Her background is in Rehabilitation Psychology with a neuropsychological emphasis. She is also active with the Learning Community program at UNC-Charlotte helping entering students become the best scholars possible.
- Sue has gathered information on the satisfaction and effectiveness of adding the MyPsychLab to her introductory Psychology courses over the last five years. She has presented her research at the National Institute on the Teaching of Psychology in January 2004, 2005 and 2006. She has also presented the impact of MyPsychLab on student learning at two Eastern Teaching of Psychology Conferences. She continues to gather data on the use of MyPsychLab. She currently employs MyPsychLab in a 50% online format. Overall, student evaluations of using MyPsychLab are positive. Highlights include the variety of learning experiences available, the platform in general, and the improvement in their understanding of the course content.

MyPsychLab - Jason S. Spiegelman is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at The Community College of Baltimore County in Catonsville, Maryland. He received his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, and his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in (ahem) Malibu, California. He is ABD for a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron. Yes, you read correctly. He moved from Malibu to Akron. Hey, nobody ever accused him of being the smartest cookie in the jar...
- He is highly active in writing, editing, and revising supplements and ancillaries for psychology textbooks, and to date has worked on over 50 different textbooks written by more than 30 different authors. His areas of expertise in teaching focus on introductory psychology and psychopathology, and he regularly teaches courses in these and other areas.
- Outside of teaching, Jason is a past member of the boards of directors of the American Association of Suicidology and the APA Division 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology), Section VII ("Clinical Emergencies and Crises). In 2005 he was named the Rose Dawson Teacher of the Year at Stevenson University in Stevenson, Maryland.

- Noland White

MyPsychLab - Noland White is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Georgia College, Georgia’s Public Liberal Arts University, located in Milledgeville. He received both his B.S. and M.S. in Psychology from Georgia College and joined the faculty there in 2001 after receiving his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Tennessee. He has an active research lab and with his students he is currently investigating the psychophysiological characteristics and neuropsychological performance of adults with and without ADHD. Outside of the lab, Dr.White is engaged in collaborative research examining the effectiveness of incorporating technology in and out of the college classroom to facilitate student learning. He also serves as a mentor for other faculty wanting to expand their use of technology with their classes. In April 2008 he was a recipient of the Georgia College Excellence in Teaching Award.

MyPsychLab - I have been teaching in the Psychology Department at Montana State University for over 25 years. I teach Introductory Psychology with a total enrollment of 1200+ students a year. I am the introductory course coordinator and have 12 Graduate Teaching Assistants who run the recitation sections for the course. I teach Abnormal Psychology with an enrollment of 200 students per year. I have published extensively in teaching of psychology in the areas of Instructor's Manuals, Student Study Guides, Test bank validation, Internet course integration, Web site content development and PowerPoint content development.
